We had heard that a Poison Ivy TV series was in development, then apparently it was off, but now according to Deadline, it's back in the works. And they have more details.
Deadline says that the show was put on hold due to the Paramount and Warner Bros. merger. Now that that's cleared, The Penguin showrunner Lauren LeFranc is in talks to produce the Poison Ivy series at HBO.
Interesting, Deadline says that the series would not be part of Matt Reeves' The Batman universe. Does that mean it'll be part of James Gunn's DCU? Or completely separate? We'll have to wait and see.
Are you excited about a potential Poison Ivy series on HBO? Who would you like to see get cast? Let me know in the comments below!

This has huge potential. Lauren and the crew did a great job with The Penguin! If this isn’t in The Batman Epic Crime Saga, then it’ll definitely be in the DCU, in my opinion. Hey HBO/Max/DC, speaking of Poison Ivy, where’s Harley Quinn season 6??
Could be interesting, but I don't like the idea of this crew jumping off of the Reevesverse, they did a terrific job with Penguin!
