Last month we heard that a Poison Ivy series set in The Batman universe was rumored to be in the works, and now it sounds like that news was true. Emphasis on "was".
The Ankler is reporting that Waller, starring Viola Davis, and Paradise Lost, the Wonder Woman show, are both dead at HBO. Not only that, they say that HBO also passed on pitches for both a Poison Ivy series and Catwoman series.
Now, I can exclusively reveal that both Waller — which was to have Viola Davis star — and Paradise Lost are both dead. Sources say DC and HBO also heard pitches for series built around Poison Ivy and Catwoman but passed on both.
It's unclear if the Poison Ivy and Catwoman series would've been set in the DCU or in The Batman universe, but last month's rumor pointed to the latter.
A DC show that HBO didn't pass on is the one starring Jimmy Olsen and villain Gorilla Grodd, played by Jimmy Tatro. That show will take place in the DCU and is expected to begin production later this summer.

I think a Catwoman show would have been great, but I haven't seen anything yet in either The Batman or The Penguin to make me interested in a Reeves' take on Ivy. Rather wait for her on the big screen.
Also, am I the only one who really wanted to see the Waller show?
jjorden yeah Ivy would've been interesting. Catwoman could've tied into the ending of The Penguin.
Waller would've been cool but I think they waited too long and Viola Davis had to move on.
