On Tuesday, Paramount will officially own Warner Bros. and form a new combined company called Skydance. Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zasalv and Warner Bros. co-CEOs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy will not be part of the new company, but there will not be any major changes to DC Studios -- at least at first.

Deadline is reporting that James Gunn and Peter Safran will continue to run DC Studios. The duo met with the new Skydance co-CEO David Ellison about their future and it went well. They will now report to Paramount Pictures co-chairs Dana Goldberg and Josh Greenstein.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Gunn and Safran met with Ellison yesterday and were told "keep doing what you're doing". They added:

The general consensus is they should at least see through the releases of the movies that are either completed or in post-production, namely the upcoming horror thriller Clayface (Oct. 23), and the especially Man of Tomorrow, the big-budget Superman sequel that opens July 2027.

DC Studios had a rough year at the box office with Supergirl, and it will look to redeem itself later this month with Clayface. The real test will be next summer's Man of Tomorrow. If that doesn't go well, there could be some big changes coming. For now though, the only major change is Gunn and Safran have new bosses.
