Spider-Man: Brand New Day is one of the biggest movies of all time, with nearly $2.5 billion at the box office and still climbing. It turns out, Batman played a little part in influencing the movie. That's according to star Tom Holland.

In an interview with Accion Cine Series, Holland explained that he loves the scene from The LEGO Batman Movie where the public thinks Batman is always partying with friends and dating supermodels, when in reality, he's just at home all alone. Holland even sent that clip from The LEGO Batman Movie to his Spider-Man: Brand New Day director, Destin Cretton, and said "we should do something like this."

"Something that I always really loved from a superhero movie is The LEGO Batman Movie. When they talk about like, 'He must be going home, having parties with all of his friends, and dating supermodels, and all this sort of stuff.'

And then it cuts to him like, in his house alone. And I do remember sending that in to Destin being like, 'This is a great little thing for us.' Like, 'We should do something like this.' I just think that it creates a lot of layers."
