One debate that's been going on since James Gunn became co-CEO of DC Studios back in 2022 is if Robert Pattinson's Batman should be the Batman in the DCU. Thankfully, director Matt Reeves doesn't seem interested in that. And now, Batman himself Robert Pattinson said it'd be "tough".
While speaking to LADbible to promote his new movie Primetime, Pattinson was asked about a possible merge into the DCU. Here's what he had to say.
“I think it would be kind of tough to have this version of Bruce outside of that world. It's one of the only characters I guess because of the length of the shoots but also it's such a specific kind of [style], the tone of it gets inside you."

I am like you, but these don’t have to be mutually exclusive. The DCU could do a Crisis-esque event one day and include Battinson in that
Arrow-2187 hey thanks for signing up and commenting! That would be interesting, but I personally don't think the DCU will be around long enough for that to happen. I think this Paramount/WB merger is going to mess with things, and I don't expect Gunn to stick around.
