Christian Bale is doing work that would make Bruce Wayne proud. The former Batman actor, along with his Together California charity organization, have opened a $22 million foster care village in Palmdale, California with 12 furnished homes. The organizations mission is to keep siblings entering the foster care system together -- something that's not always guaranteed.

Bale even makes the Bruce Wayne comparison himself in the interview, when he realizes that Wayne opens an orphanage at the end of The Dark Knight Rises.

TheRealDill yeah I remember hearing about this a few years ago when they started building it. According to Bale in that interview, it's something he's been planning/working on for 18 years. Must be so rewarding to see it all come together. The kids move in next month.
