Christian Bale is doing work that would make Bruce Wayne proud. The former Batman actor, along with his Together California charity organization, have opened a $22 million foster care village in Palmdale, California with 12 furnished homes. The organizations mission is to keep siblings entering the foster care system together -- something that's not always guaranteed.

A local news station in Los Angeles caught up with Bale to talk about this amazing achievement. You can watch the interview below and head over to TogetherCalifornia.org to learn more and see how you can help.

Bale even makes the Bruce Wayne comparison himself in the interview, when he realizes that Wayne opens an orphanage at the end of The Dark Knight Rises.
