Sebastian Stan is currently at the 2026 Toronto International Film Festival for his new movie, Fjord. I already shared an interview where he said he'd be working on The Batman: Part 2 until the winter, but now he's really hyping up the Robert Pattinson sequel.
In a new interview with Variety, Stan compared The Batman: Part 2 to The Godfather Part 2, saying "I go to set sometimes and I look around and I'm like, I think we're making fucking Godfather Part 2. I really don't want to raise it up, but I do feel like it's going to be a payoff."
That's very high praise! Variety went on to say that Stan wouldn't confirm who he's playing, but that "the light visibly goes out of his face when the name Harvey Dent, whom he is rumored to be playing, comes up". Take that for what you will.
The Batman: Part 2 is scheduled to shoot through the end of the year. It hits theaters on February 18, 2028.

Speaking of The Godfather Part 2, friends, I once spent a long weekend at a Starlight Inn in El Monte with Harry Dean Stanton. We quickly obscured the windows with black trash bags, dispensing with time perception, and invited over a pair of lovely ladies who's affections did not come cheap! I could hardly orient myself, between shots of Don Julio, substantial cocaine use and a marathon game of Hungry Hungry Hippo. I was made to perform the Macarena at gunpoint several times that weekend. Looking forward to The Batman 2!
