Robert Pattinson was at the 83rd Venince Film Festival yesterday to promote his new movie Primetime. While doing press, he was asked about The Batman: Part 2, and he explained that the movie goes in a "totally new direction".
"To go in a totally different direction... even when I'm just looking at the playback on set. It looks different from the first one."
"It's a quite radical change to the script and it's cool that Warners are behind it. And DC. It's just crazy. I think Matt Reeves is the only person who anybody would allow to do it because it's a like a really radical retelling of Batman."
You can check out Pattinson's full comments in the video below.
What do you make of Pattinson's comments about The Batman: Part 2 going in a "totally different direction" and being a "radical change" to the first movie? Let me know in the comments below!

If I'm being honest, a stand-alone DC superhero movie without dozens of cameos and with Jame Gunn's Troma humor will be refreshing.
They should just go back to doing that for character; the JGU already feels like it's worn out its welcome.
First of all, congrats for the new site!
Secondly, looking forward to all the conversations we will have here again! I really missed a space like this for us Batman fans!
Thanks for all your work Chris, and good luck!
Larry_J have to agree here!
jrvc thank you! I'm so glad you're here. I just gave you the same profile picture you used for Disqus, but feel free to change it to whatever you'd like!
I would speculate that if the first one was more of a slow burn detective thriller. This one will be a more intense fast-paste action psycolical triller.
