Robert Pattinson was at the London Film Festival tonight for the premiere of his new movie Primetime, which doesn't open there until October 30th. While on the red carpet, Pattinson was asked about the recent production pause on The Batman: Part 2.
"We're pausing for a little bit and then we are going to figure it all out," Pattinson replied. You can check out the exchange in the video below at the 5:22 mark:
Tomorrow will mark one week since DC Studios announced The Batman: Part 2 was pausing production. The company said that director Matt Reeves had to step away to focus on "a family matter".
The Batman: Part 2 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on February 18, 2028.

I have a theory that the October 2027 to February 2028 delay was accounting for this production pause. I don't think it'll be delayed again beyond that.
I've seen a bunch of BS reporting that DC/WB/Paramount wants to find a new director.
I don't believe it, but this quote by Pattinson, are they trying to figure out a way to make a release date with or without Reeves?
As it stands, it's already a 6-year gap between The Batman and part 2. Whatever it is, WB/DC/Paramount needs to get this BS sorted with Batman tomorrow. Be it The Batman 2, another Batman for the DCU, or whatever.
