Sebastian Stan was a guest on the Happy Sad Confused podcast with Josh Horowitz and talked about how he landed a role in The Batman: Part 2.
Stan repeated the story that he told at the Toronto Film Festival last month about The Batman: Part 2 director Matt Reeves loving Stan's work in The Apprentice and wanting to talk. At that same time, Stan revealed that he was reaching out to James Gunn at DC Studios.
"The DC thing was honestly always kind of like a joke in my mind. I was like, 'there's no way that I'm ever going to end up [in a DC movie]'... But Matt had seen The Apprentice and really liked the film and my work in that. And then that inspired a conversation. Subsequently, around the same time, I was kind of poking the bear a bit over there with James Gunn, going, 'I think we should figure something out.'"
And figure something out they did! We still don't know exactly who Stan is playing, though it's been heavily reported that he'll be Harvey Dent/Two-Face. You can check out the full conversation about The Batman: Part 2 below.
