Joe Manganiello's new book "Bloodlines: A Memoir" is out now. We've already seen an excerpt where Manganiello talks about how the role of Deathstroke in Ben Affleck's Batman movie helped save his life, but he also reveals the plot of the movie in book!

Entertainment Weekly read it and shared the details. Manganiello said that Affleck planned to make "a superhero version of David Finchers The Game", which has been reported over the years.

But here come the new plot details, courtesy of Manganiello. He says that Deathstroke would seek to "dismantle Batman's entire life" after being led to believe that Batman murdered his son.

The Magic Mike actor says that Deathstroke’s revenge would include killing Commissioner Gordon (played by J.K. Simmons in prior DC movies), taking Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons) hostage, and breaking into the Batcave. He also claims that the film would have featured a mid-movie fight in which “Deathstroke would nearly kill both Batman and Batgirl before they would both escape via an aboveground train.”

The movie would end with a "climactic one-on-one showdown through the streets of Gotham", inspired by the fight between Batman and Deathstroke in the Batman: Arkham Origins trailer, which I've embedded below.

What do you think of the plot of Ben Affleck's cancelled Batman movie? Let me know in the comments below!
