According to The Hollywood Reporter, James Gunn and DC Studios has hired Christina Hodson to write the script for Batman: The Brave and the Bold. If that name sounds familiar, it's because she's no stranger to DC movies.

Hodson wrote the script for The Flash, which featured both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as Batman. She also wrote the script for Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn movie, Birds of Prey.

The Flash and Birds of Prey struggled at the box office and received mixed reviews from fans, so it'll be interesting to see if the third time's the charm for Hodson and Batman: The Brave and the Bold. The movie doesn't have a release date yet, but Gunn has suggested it will be before 2030.
